On 25th July 2024, during a concept awareness program organized by 14 companies, the Textile entrepreneurs/ Textile incubators of the country Burkina Faso, Africa invited our Karur textile manufacturers and exporters to come forward for a joint venture support / collaboration model of textile business in their country.

The businessmen/ Delegate who came from Burkina Faso first visited the facilities of Home Textile Exporters and The Textile Park in Karur.

An awareness and joint meeting was held at Residency Hotel.

Mr.Sukumar, secretary of the association, opened the meeting with a welcome speech.

Mr.Vikas Sharma of Gherzi Consultancy in Delhi briefed the gathering about the activities, possibilities of business collaboration and expectations of companies from Africa.

Honorary President of Karur Textile Manufacturers and Exporters Association Mr.M.Nachimuthu, Hon.President (Atlas Exports Enterprises), Mr.P.Gopalakrishnan, President, (Metro Fabrics), Mr. S.Sukumar, Secretary (Sarathy Export Fabrics), Treasurer Mr.V. Ashok Ramkumar (Asian Fabricx Pvt Ltd) and joint Secretary Mr.Sethupathi ( Master Linens Inc) all the Core and Executive Committee Members were present and honoured the guests from Burkino Faso.

There was a Q&A session during which a lot of information have been exchanged on cotton grown in Burkina Faso, the tax system and so on.
