KTMEA President Mr.P.Gopalakrishnan, Vice President Mr. K.G.Prithivi and Joint Secretary Mr.A.Sethupathi had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Perumal I.A.S., Managing Director of ITCOT (Industrial and Technical Consultancy Organisation of Tamil Nadu Limited), on development of various infrastructural requirements for Karur Textile Cluster.

Meeting 2:

The same team of KTMEA had another important meeting with Dr.Prabahar I.A.S., Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board and Discussion had on the following subjects:

1. Building low cost housing for native and migrant labours.

2. Proposal Put forth SIPCOT land to build common hostel facility for both domestic migrant and other state migrant labours.

We had requested that both the schemes may be operated on OPEX model without CAPEX by individual companies.
